DMCA Policy

MuSync respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), we will respond to properly submitted claims of copyright infringement.

How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Request

If you believe content hosted on MuSync infringes your copyright, please provide a written notice with the following information:

• Your physical or electronic signature;
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on the site;
• Your contact information, including address, telephone number, and email address;
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification including:

• Your physical or electronic signature;
• Identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared before removal;
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed due to mistake or misidentification;
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
• A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district in which your address is located, or if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which MuSync is located.

We will forward the counter-notification to the original complainant and may reinstate the removed material if we do not receive a court action within 10 business days.

Repeat Infringers

MuSync may terminate user accounts that are repeat infringers in accordance with the DMCA and our Terms of Service.
